Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

What we do with the information we have
We use the information that you have given us in order to provide products or services you’ve requested, with your permission.
We may share this information only in the following instances:
- With law enforcement to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service or as otherwise required by law.
- With an acquiring company if Reseau is acquired by or merged with another company — we don’t plan on that, but if it happens — we’ll notify you well before any information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
How we store your information
Your information is securely stored on servers under our control in Jersey, France and Netherlands.
We keep your name, email address and any communications only for as long as required to provide our services to you.
If your data is stored on our servers, it will be permanently removed from active services 30 days after account(s) are terminated. Backups are retained for 4 weeks on a rotating basis therefore any data stored in our backups will be automatically removed after 4 weeks. The process for data stored on our servers is triggered manually, but processed by scripts we have developed in-house to ensure all data is removed. If you require evidence of deletion, we are happy to provide a signed certificate/statement on request.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
- Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
- Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
- Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
- Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
- Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have four weeks to respond to you.
